Uta and Jorg chose Crete to say their “I do”, and that summer midday in Rethymno had exactly the feeling that suits them: calm, warm, and truly elegant, with nothing unnecessary. The landscape did half the work on its own, with the deep blue of the sea and the rocky coastline opening up the horizon, while the venue, dressed in woven textures and white curtains moving with the breeze, gave an effortless island character to a ceremony that felt more like a celebration with close loved ones.

Uta’s bridal look was the epitome of elegant summer: a white one-shoulder dress with a light flow, subtle jewelry, and an olive wreath with small white flowers, which paired beautifully with Cretan nature. Jorg chose a light blue suit that lit up in the sun, with burgundy details on the tie and pocket square, creating a lovely contrast that “matched” the color accents of the bouquet. The wedding bands, simple and clean, placed in a minimal box on a white tablecloth, along with the greenery branches and white flowers on the ceremony table, gave the inspiration we love: minimal aesthetics with a Mediterranean heart.

The ceremony unfolded emotionally, with guests seated on woven chairs and the summer light as a backdrop, while the couple’s gestures—hands clasping, looks lingering a little longer, smiles breaking through the emotion—wrote their own story.
